Hare's view of the 979th Hash:

Perhaps because of the pleasant weather, or perhaps because of the reknown hare, the masses came out in throngs this Saturday to experience one of central Tel Aviv's greatest hashes.
The weather was soooooo perfect, in fact, that several of our regular runners chose instead to savor the sweet afternoon air and abundant sun with a walk. The marginally stronger among us set out just as the last cloud exited from the far reaches of the sky on an interesting, well-marked trail that gave Hashers the unique opportunity to experience many of Tel Aviv's storied boulevards. The strong sunlight and seasonable temperature even failed to affect the majority of the markings along the way. After heading north, the Hashers streaked across Kikar Rabin, each receiving a suntan in the course of a few seconds. After arriving at Kikar Dizengoff, our halfway point, the hashers eschewed a pavilion for the open space next to the fountain for a stirring rendition of Joe and his buttons. Several of the lighter-skinned Hashers even received sunburns during the song.
After a second half that topped even the first, everyone returned to Kikar Habima for down-downs, rabble-rousing, and general praise for the hare and trail.
Said one nameless hasher, "if you weren't there, you might as well kill yourself because you missed the best thing that ever was or ever will be"**.
